How to Connect

Connecting to the RUSTUGA server is easy. Follow these steps to join and start playing.

Requirements

You need a legitimate copy of Rust (purchased from Steam) and a Steam account in good standing. Make sure your game is updated to the latest version before connecting.

Method 1: Direct Connect

Open Rust and press F1 to open the console. Type: client.connect play.rustuga.com:28015(replace with our actual server IP if different) and press Enter. The server will appear in your recent connections for quick access next time.

Method 2: Server Browser

In the Rust main menu, go to Play Game → Community. Use the search bar to search for "RUSTUGA". Click on our server and press Connect. You can favorite the server for easy access in the future.

First Time Connecting

On your first connection, the server may download additional assets. This can take a few minutes. Once loaded, you'll spawn on the beach. Check our Server Rules and Wipe Schedule before you start building!
